Cantante, pianista, compositrice e arrangiatrice, Petra nasce a Milano nel 1988.
Nel suo progetto "Torre di Babele" fonde jazz, soul, gospel e black music che confluiscono inesorabilmente l'una dentro l'altra incontrandosi in un'unica lingua: il grammelot. Questo tende alla rappresentazione della musica come linguaggio universale, subordinando l'uso del vocabolo. S'incontrano note di saper russo, africano tribale, arabeggiante, italiano, gospel, jazz, pop ed elettronico. Tutto in un ginepraio ben equilibrato.
Insegna da diversi anni ormai canto, pianoforte e armonia a musicisti e produttori adottando un metodo totalmente personale che si basa sulla stimolazione dell'autostima dell'allievo, qualunque sia il punto di partenza, asserendo che non vi sono traguardi impossibili.
E' vocal coach di figure affermate nel panorama italiano come Nitro, SickBudd, Warez, e produttori come Yazee e di emergenti, principalmente del mondo rap, aiutandoli a trovare la loro voce ed espressività nel canto, costruendo per ognuno di essi un percorso ad hoc.
Petra ha conseguito la laurea alla Scuola Civica Jazz di Milano studiando con i più grandi maestri del panorama jazzistico come Enrico Intra, Franco Cerri, Tony Arco e il grande Tomelleri. Durante la sua formazione di musicista e compositrice ha seguito diverse masterclasses come Foniatria, Improvvisazione Jazz, Teoria e Armonia Jazz, Poloritmia, Arrangiamento.
Da diversi anni suona a eventi importanti come JazzMi, Salone del Mobile, Breaking Jazz di Milano, Milano Fashion Week e diversi eventi culturali sparsi per l'Italia. Suona ovviamente nei club Milanesi e quelli affacciati sul mare durante la stagione estiva. Ha avuto la possibilità di fare diversi tours europei negli ultimi due anni.
Si è specializzata inoltre nel lavoro musicale con i bambini, i quali danno una risposta completamente diversa dall'adulto e hanno una comprensione musicale che arricchisce e stimola la ricerca dell'insegnante stessa.
Petra ha collaborato con diversi artisti come fotografi, pittori e poeti.
Suona con una compagnia teatrale fissa, con la quale gira l'Italia e ha diverse collaborazioni musicali all'attivo, tra cui un progetto di inediti.

For several years now, she has taught singing, piano and harmony by adopting a totally personal method that is based on stimulating the student's self-esteem, whatever the starting point is, asserting that there are no impossible goals.
She is the vocal coach of established figures in the Italian scene such as Nitro, SickBudd, Warez, and producers such as Yazee and emerging ones, mainly from the rap world, helping them find their voice and expressiveness in singing, building an ad hoc path for each of them.
Petra graduated from the Civic Jazz School of Milan, studying with the greatest masters of the jazz scene such as Enrico Intra, Franco Cerri, Tony Arco and the great Tomelleri. During her training as a musician and composer she followed several master classes such as Phoniatrics, Jazz Improvisation, Jazz Theory and Harmony, Polorhythmia, Arrangement.
For several years she has played at important events in her hometown, Milan, such as JazzMi, Salone del Mobile, Breaking Jazz, Fashion Week and various other cultural events scattered throughout Italy. She love to play also in little Milanese clubs more intimate and those overlooking the sea during the summer season among the italian coasts. She has had the opportunity to do several European tours in the past two years too.
She also specializes in musical workshops realized thinking about children, whose give a completely different response compared to adults and have a musical understanding that enriches and stimulates the teacher's research.
Petra has collaborated with several artists such as photographers, painters and poets.
She plays with a theater company, the same since years, with which she travels around Italy and has several musical collaborations to her credit, including a new project.
